BABY PHAT is a label never does things halfway. The Mystical Mirror Bag may be a little ostentatious for many fashionistas, but fans of Kimora Lee Simmons’ blingtastic label are sure to lap it up. Compare the Baby Phat bag to it’s luxury alternative, the Versace Madonna Silver Metallic Bag. The Baby Phat bag is pictured on the left; Versace Madonna on the right.

It’s the metallic finish that gives the the Mystical Mirror Satchel its name. Although silver rarely needs any more accents, Kimora Lee includes them anyway. The signature kitty cat logo is surrounded by a plethora of rhinestones. Add a smattering of tiny silver studs and tasseled zipper pulls and you’ve got one very busy look. You’ll either love it or hate it.

On the interior, the Mystical Mirror Bag delivers everything I’d want in an everyday satchel. Although the hot pink lining is really kind of fun, I most appreciate all the space and the zip and slip pockets for keeping precious cargo organized.

As I said, this is the kind of handbag you’re either going to love or hate. It’s not my cup of tea for everyday wear, but for a flashy evening out at the nightclub, it might work. Either way, I’m sure plenty of handbag lovers will adore its big, brash, Baby Phat style.
